Review – ‘Close to Me’ by Tamara Lush

Blurb

Yoga studio owner Vivian is irreverent, bold and full of life — until a brutal carjacking shakes her very core. When she returns to work, a handsome Marine-turned-massage therapist named Zack offers to help heal her with his touch.

Review

Vivian returns to work at her New Age-style yoga center after taking a few months off to heal from a carjacking and beating. Zack is an ex-Marine who gives therapeutic massages to injured vets and he works in her building. When he offers Vivian unlimited free massages, the heat between them finally spirals out of control.
This is a very hot story, but I wish it would’ve been longer for more character development. It’s told in Vivian’s first POV with flashbacks to how Vivian and Zack first met and about the attack. There’s a HFN ending. I like the writing and will look for more books from the author.
